Kai glared levelly into Alex's eyes, gently pushing Evanlyn behind him. Evanlyn grabbed onto his arm then looked up at Brook,"Nothing." She replied.

Alex stood in front of the angry Kait, glaring at Kai. "Yes, nothing."

Brook narrowed her eyes. "Stop lying to me..." She said, her voice raising.

Kai stiffened slightly turning his red eyes on Brook,"You're marked." He said, it was more of a statement than a question.

"Don't you think I know that?" She snapped. Avi ran up behind her, pulling her towards him. "Brook, you need to stay calm." He said. Brook's pupils grew bigger. "Go to hell." She pushed him, sending him towards the side of a building. She then turned to the others.

Evanlyns eyes widened slightly. "Brook calm down." She said, her voice low.

Brook narrowed her eyes. "Don't tell me to be calm.." She held her head low, her hair covering her eyes. She glanced up, lines growing across her face, as if it was cracking.

Kai nudged Evanlyn backwards slowly, edging away From Brook. "We should just leave her alone.." He whispered.

She moved forward closer to them. "Why are you running away from me?" She asked in an innocent voice. She looked up blinking her blue eyes. "What did I do?"

Evanlyn tightended her grip on Kai's arm and pulled him back. "Brook you should go with Avi and rest." She said gently.

"A-Avi's here?" She said. She turned, seeing him with blood streaming from his nose. "Avi!" She screamed and ran to him. "Who did this to him?!"

"You did.." Kai whispered, then he wrapped one arm protectively around Evanlyns waist,"We should be going now."

"I-I what?" She turned to them. "You have to help me." She said, choking on the words.

Evanlyn hesitated slightly,"How can we help you Brook?" She said. Kai glanced down at her,"Evanlyn are you sure this is the right thing to do..."

"I need to help Avi!" She said, her voice raising. "If you even care about me, or do you only care about yourself?!" She yelled, tears streaming down her cheeks.

Evanlyn let go of Kai's arm then walked over to Brook and grabbed one of Avi's arms, helping him up to his feet,"I'll help." She said. Kai walked forward and helped to support Avi.

Evanlyn glanced up, the surprise evident on her face,"What are you talking about?" She asked, aware of Kai moving protectively close to her.

I start to walk home after eating supper. As I walk I see four or five people about my age but their eyes change colors. Thats wierd, but it might be color changing contacts but it might be me because im so tired, but watever I don't care now I just wanna get home so I can sleep. As I look at them i notice one of the girls crying. All i wanna do is go over to her and comfort her but then again they might be some of the people who think im crazy. So i decide to just keep walking.

"My blood....He's not immune to my blood yet..." Her voice trailed off as she felt eyes watching her, so she whirled around, her normal brown-red eyes gleaming.

Evanlyn glanced over at the new girl, she forced her eyes to change to their normal color then looked at Brook,"Where do we take Avi?" She asked.

She turned and blinked "To my house." She responded, shuffling off.

I saw one of the girls turn around to look at me, and I saw another girl and her eyes flashed a different color. When I met their eyes I freaked and started to run away, and i hoped they wouldn't follow me.

Evanlyn blinked as the girl sped off then nodded towards Brook and followed her to her house, helping Avi stand.

I looked back and saw that no one was following me but when I turned back I ran into a black cloked figure I saw their red eyes and screamed when they grabed my arm, hoping someone would hear me.

She opened the door and gestured to the couch. "Lay him down there." She added, closing the door. "Thanks for your help.."
